about Mikael Huss

Mikael Huss, Naval Architect PhD, is presently working as Senior adviser at Wallenius Marine AB.

From 2001 to 2006 he was working as Head of Ship Technical Division at the Swedish Maritime Safety Inspectorate within the Swedish Maritime Administration (in 2009 the Inspectorate was incorporated into the new Swedish Transport Agency).

Before that he was working at the Royal Institute of Technology - KTH as a researcher, senior lecturer and director of undergraduate education in Naval Architecture for two decades.

Mikael has also been a part-time consultant, researcher and software developer within the private firm mhuss and within Seaware AB as one of the founders.
